USA, Inc.

The largest corporation in the world is USA Inc. Not only it is the leading company, but it also is the most influential and the most tightly protected for-profit-organization in the world. The corporation has close to ten thousand owners and co-owners worldwide. The largest military in the world, by far, protects this conglomerate and all its subsidiaries all around the world. With more than 800 military posts in over 70 friendly (!) countries, it is a daring prospect to try to undermine this company. Of course, there are other entities (countries) that have been competing very carefully, due to their special circumstances. One of them is Russia, that is not economically a challenge for the Big Brother, but has not submitted to it either, due to its history. The other one, China, became an economic power taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the United States. Of course, these countries and some other few that have not become America’s plain field, are not considered “Normal” by American establishment, and there have been plans to convert them through smaller and weaker ex-alliances. This has been the case for Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Syria, with a prospect for a few others, such as Iran. Justifications for such military and covert actions are planned so intelligently (with the aid of majority Americans’ trust in their governments) that such excuses can easily be consumed by American public.

The only aim of this company is profit, and although it acts as if it is caring for its people, money is the single goal. A huge administration, in central office in Washington DC with branches in every state and almost every country, ensures benefits of the company is in sight, prior to any other considerations or concerns. This company is also unique, as it is varied in products, locations, and forms of establishment. Products of this company are both tangible and intangible. A clever and carefully written propaganda machine has always been behind this company since its inception a couple and a half centuries ago. The strategies are devised in such a very delicate and perceptive manner, that most knowledgeable and shrewd consumers can fall for it. As an example, a famous book by Seymour Morris Jr. titled “American History Revised”, discloses some events that were erased from the history books by accident or intention. For instance, we know that the event of Pearl Harbor pulled United States into the war against Japan, which was ended by the United States using atomic bomb for the first time in history against another nation. The book tells the story:

“Sitting in front of the radar screen on a Sunday morning in Pearl Harbor, Lieutenant Joseph McDonald had a job to do: make sure the “Japs” weren’t coming up since 5:00 a.m. the previous day. McDonald Stayed beyond his 6:00 a.m. departure so his colleagues (against regulation) could go get some breakfast. Exhausted and barely still awake at 7:20 a.m. waiting for his colleagues to come back from breakfast, he got a call from an outlying radar base at Opana reporting a large contingent of planes headed toward Pearl Harbor. He rushed into the next room and found Lt. Kermit Tyler, on his second day of training in his new post. It was nothing to worry about, Tyler told him (P.7).”

The story continues in detail, that McDonald received another warning through the radar that the large fleet was heading towards them, and he reported it to Tyler again, who dismissed the information one more time, citing that a large US fleet had been expected and “Don’t worry about it”. The author is surprised that this piece of historical information is always dismissed by analysts: “It is remarkable how military analysts to this day gloss over the facts (P.8).” It is remarkable that this historian himself did not see it as a plan, rather than an accident, either. However, he is baffled by the inaction: “The Opana warning was crystal clear. For an equally clear assessment of what happened, we should listen not to government historians writing public-relations fluff, but to military officers risking their lives on the ground at the time (P.8).” To credit this suggestion, he quotes from a Corporal George Mooney: “I finally talked to him [Lieutenant Tyler] and told him to immediately call someone with authority and pass the word that we have picked up over 150 blips on our radar screen and get some action right away. He gave me a bunch of BS (P.9).” Interestingly, general MacArthur was informed of this, based on further disclosures on the same page of this book: “MacArthur had been told all about Pearl Harbor and ordered to go on full alert, yet he did nothing.” To whitewash this event, the author quotes from another historian, that since there are usually incorrect information, it is not surprising that one accurate information would be missed!

This was not an accident. This was precisely known, and the outcome was carefully calculated. A few people, such as Lt. Tyler and General MacArthur had obviously been told to cease any action and stay on the fringes, in order for the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor, so American government gets a chance to show its supremacy. The same event happened to Iraq not long ago. General MacArthur had the same popularity as General Powell. Not long after the turn of the century, many can remember that Collin Powell went to the UN to utilize his popularity in order to make a statement which he knew himself to be a lie: “My colleagues, every statement I make today is backed up by sources, solid sources. These are not assertions. What we’re giving you are facts and conclusions based on solid intelligence.” We learned later that he did not have any evidence whatsoever, as after bombing Iraq to stone ages, American army searched every inch of that land and could not find a shred of evidence. However, Powell was believed by the UN members, as he was considered a credible person at the time. Later he confirmed his statements by saying that there was no doubt in his mind about Saddam having WMD. In his presentation to the UN, he also mentioned Iraqi’s chemical weapons, which were used in Iran-Iraq war many years earlier, and the whole world had already known about it. This would of course make his assertion more credible. In his speech, he mentioned the name of Hussein Kamel, Saddam’s son-in-law who had defected to the US and had reported Saddam’s stockpile of chemical weapons. But what Powell intentionally omitted from his speech was Kamel’s testimony that after the war Saddam destroyed all the remaining chemical weapons. That shows how Powell carefully selected what to tell the members, in order to ensure alignment of UN members, and especially acquiescence of all Americans, as his speech was on every TV channel for days to come. Why would Powell put his credibility online and make such statements? Because he is an agent of the USA Inc., a conglomerate in search of cheap oil.

There is no doubt that Saddam Hussein was a brutal dictator, who killed the son-in-law mentioned above, after his defection to the US and after he was enticed to go back to his country. His attack on his neighboring country, his stockpile of chemical weapons, his brutality towards those he did not like, or opposed to him, are all well known. It is also well known that after the fall of Soviet Union, he was very close to the United States government, and even attacking his neighbor was with an acquiescence he received from the US ambassador. However, one should ponder why a country that has been producing so much of the same weapons of mass destruction, that can destroy the whole world three times over, and the only country that has used nuclear weapons on other countries, should declare war and punish a dictator of another country while destroying many citizens of that country, with a lame pretense of producing the same weapons. Indeed, the leader of such country can easily claim that his country and his administration and his whole government is exceptional, and do not need to respond to anyone. Of course, with so many military bases all over the world, and the amount of weaponry United States is keeping, no one would even dare to question it! This gives this conglomerate, headed by the owners’ selected individuals, to act in any fashion that results in accumulating profits.

When a society’s standards are based on wealth, humanity which is the opposite of wealth accumulation becomes a secondary consideration, if there is any consideration whatsoever. In such a society, exercising humanity does not have a chance. Let us take another quotation from the book mentioned earlier; “American History Revised”: “When Al Gore won the 2000 election popular vote and was trying to get a Florida recount, he said, ‘What is in stake here is the integrity of our democracy, making sure that the will of people is expressed.’ Several months later, before 9/11, President Bush called for a ‘Century of Democracy’ and the freeing of ‘captive nations’ from dictatorship…. The United States is not a democracy, never was, and never was intended to be. It is a republic.” The author continues to explain what a republic is, and maintains that the intention of the founding fathers in not creating a democracy was with a belief that democracy would eventually lead to dictatorship. In another chapter he calls United States a warlike nation, but not a militarist one. The book recites many historical facts which are interesting to learn. However, it is constantly whitewashing American imperialistic crimes. United States is not a democracy but a plutocracy, as it is ruled by rich and capitalist individuals. Whoever spends more money in an election, wins the White House. The same goes with representatives of both Houses. The money to support candidates come from corporations governing this nation. As the aim of any corporation is increasing profits, government policies are naturally in the same direction.

United States became the largest world player after World War II, when the whole Europe and a part of Asia were destroyed. Marshal plan assisted Europe in receiving enough funds to reconstruct after WWII, in addition for the US to have economic partners. There were several conditions for Marshal plan, but the most important one was for those European countries to have, and continue to keep, capitalist governments. Any European country with the smallest socialist administration in its makeup, would not receive benefits from this plan. Since then, until the year 1980, when Ronald Reagan became the president, the economic policy of the United States was based on the theories by John Maynard Keynes. Ronald Reagan was advised to change its economic policies and replace it with the teachings of Milton Friedman, which excluded any services performed by the government and advised privatizing every aspect of the society. This helped the US government to move one step further to have as its main and basic duty, supporting large and influential businesses, especially the multi-national ones. Therefore, the benefit of individual businesses, not the population of the United States, further became the first duty of the government. Privatizing became the slogan of the future governments, Democrat or Republican, and any country under the domination of the United States had to pursue the same economic doctrine. Large American companies started investing in those countries as well, and it made the United States a conglomerate of several large and international companies, managed by the government. American people would of course receive a small piece of the loot, so they would support their governments. There is no nation in the world as rich, while nationalist in nature, religious in its core and hateful of socialism, as the United States.

In fact, as it was mentioned earlier, companies are not supported by the government, but the US government is supported by several major companies. That makes America the largest entrepreneur in the world, protected by a vicious and a non-merciful military. In addition, there is a massive and vast media, owned by only a few people, whose main responsibility is to misinform the public. As long as the military along with the media continue to exercise the same power, it is difficult for other nations to rise up independently. Recent events in Russia and China, however, have been creating stronger nations with agendas outside of the US hegemony. As a result, anti-Chinese and anti-Russian propaganda have been rampant, not only in the Right circle, but also in some uneducated Left circle as well. Those who help the spread of such gossips, should know that they are only adding fuel to the fire flaring by the United States and its allies, which would also aflame another war against those countries, by the largest company in the world, and with the help of its allies. Considering environmental impact of capitalism, along with the global market being shared by other players and not just the United States, peace in the future is envisioned to be murky, to say the least.
