When the economy is down, unemployment is up, racism is up, sexism is up, conservatism is up, religious activities are up, police brutality is up, and rumors are up; but wisdom and intelligence are down. This is due to the fact that people struggle to maintain their vital necessities, which are usually hard to find. Articles in magazines such as National Lampoon or National Enquirer or People and other tabloids used to be challenged by people who were attacked. As the character of those tabloids was disclosed to everyone, people being slandered decided to just ignore them, without spending their valuable time, in addition to the high cost of fighting them in the court. That is why character defamation is usually left unresponsive. By the advent of the internet, innumerable e-papers were established, which made it even harder to follow them all and find disparaging sites. As a result more outrages articles were invented in order to attract stupid eyes and sell commercials.
