Thousands of years ago, there was
only God. God has control over the whole never-ending universe, which he
created, and his throne is above the clouds. God, with His infinite ability and
knowledge, created man, and Milky Way for human to conquer. It was implied that
God is a man. Of course God is a man! He is an old man who lives in the skies
and encompasses all the characters that man has. He, such as His creations,
falls in love, is cunning and crafty, gets revenge, likes and hates, deceives,
and even wrestles with his prophet. He is the one who has been, and will be,
and created man on his own image. So each one of us is like him without his
power, and we are nothing in comparison to him, but his sinful creations.
The story of god starts from
hundreds and thousands of years ago. It is almost impossible to pinpoint the
exact time, as time did not exist. God was sitting down thinking what to do. Of
course we call it thinking as we do not have any other way to express it, since
God himself was the creator of thinking and time. He decided to use his power
and create something that would be influenced, affected, and changed by time.
Upon this thought, he created fire, which would slowly die down and turn into
rocks and dust. He ordered the sun to shine, and created a disc where we live
and call earth, and planted the moon in the middle of the sky. Then, He ordered
the sun and the moon to move above and beneath the earth, so when one is ascending
overhead, the other descends underneath. He sprinkled stars in between them
that became subject of poetry. He flowed water under the earth and made holes
for the water to surface above earth. Then, He created heaven in the uppermost
part of the universe, and decorated it with variety of vegetation, and filled its
rivers with honey. Using these materials he created other materials, and shaped
them and invented things again. Because of time, these rocks and dirt would
separate and shape differently. Then, He invented the wind which blows with the
temperature change and alters shapes of things. He created mountains and hid
inside them chemical elements. To make it short, the capable God worked on his
creations for thousands of years.
One day (or perhaps one night, as
this is not exactly established yet) God thought to himself: “so, what is the use
of these creations?” Suddenly he thought of an interesting idea. He sat on the
ground and picked up a fistful of mud and started making a sculpture of
Himself. Then, he blew spirit in it and named it Adam. As simple as that! Adam
lived in heaven for thousands of years. May be we should not call it living, since
such a thing as death did not exist. We should perhaps call it spending time in
heaven. One day he asked God: “why did you create me?” God pondered and robbed
his snow colored long beard with the palm of his right hand and responded:
“well, I can’t figure it out myself. By god, why? Aren’t you happy to have been
created?” It is important to mention that He didn’t really say “by god”, but
something with the same meaning. Adam started complaining: “I am so tired of
being by myself in this heaven. “God, who is magnificent and merciful and loves
his creations and enjoys nothing but the best for them, dipped his fingers into
his long floury beard, gave it a long yawn, took a look around himself and
probed: “Do you want me to make another of your kind?” With glowing eyes, Adam
nodded: “oh yes, and for God sake please (and that was the beginning of this
expression).” God picked up a fistful of clay and started shaping it. When
finished, he compared it to Adam, and realized that it looked very different.
Threw it to the side and whispered to himself: “this looks more like a spider
than a human!” Then, he picked up another fistful of clay and tried again. This
one looked like a water hose; so He threw it away and whispered: “snake”. He
picked a larger fistful of clay and started shaping it again. It turned out too
large and too long. He told himself: “I think I picked up too much. This looks
more like a crocodile.” In this way and with many trials and errors he created almost
all the animals. At the end, he created something that resembled human being,
but it was too hairy, and so all kinds of primates were created. Finally He was
tired of playing with the clay and decided to make a human out of the body of
the first. So, he ordered Adam to lie down and pulled another being from his
ribs (which rib is controversial among scientists). The new human looked like
Adam, but with some physical differences, and smaller stature. Then, he asked
Adam if he liked her. Adam became so happy and cheerful, such as a boy with a
new toy, and joyfully uttered: “my merciful and magnificent creator, may I call
it Eve?” God nodded, and her name was established as Eve, the second human creation.
Adam was mesmerized by Eve. He
would play with her hair and would lay on his tommy so Eve could scratch his
back. God decided to inform Adam of Eve’s character. He advised him: “when you
were by yourself, you could do whatever the heck you desired. Now there is not
one, but two of you and you have to be careful of your actions. Eve is devious and
deceitful and her hair emits some rays that make men infatuated and possessed. However,
I made her weaker than you.” God continued advising Adam for seven days and
seven nights. Adam could not take his eyes off Eve during the whole episode; he
would shake his head without grasping the meaning of what He was saying. God caressed
animals and ordered them to obey Adam and stay under his command. From that
time on, Adam and Eve would talk to animals, and since they had not had much of
history to talk about, they would share and discuss sceneries of heaven.
There was a mysterious smile on
God’s lips who was checking Adam out, and while pondering, began his plan. From
the time He created Adam, he had been thinking of making another creation that
had more of his characters. This time, instead of picking up a fistful of clay,
he created the next one from fire, and shrewder, more crafty and deceitful, and
named him Satan. Then he confided to Satan what was expected of him. He was
supposed to teach the other two, all his satanic ideas. Satan laughed loud,
that resembled the laughter of ugly bad guys in Hollywood movies. God ordered
him to bow before Adam. He smirked and replied: “you made him out of dirt and
made me from fire, he should bow before me.” God became angry that Satan was
not following his orders and told himself: “you are disobeying my wishes? I
will show it to you in the appropriate time.”
Adam and Eve were sitting on the
lawn next to a stream and were staring at each other. They had no worries and
could only gaze at each other. Birds were flying above them, bringing news of
the far distant parts of the heaven. Lions and panthers were sitting next to
Adam and Eve, licking them. Fish and other marine animals were swimming in the stream,
diving and jumping above the water and saying good morning to the two. Suddenly
a loud voice shattered their somber. God was talking to them, advising them to
eat heavenly fruits and seeds without hesitation, and try each kind and eat
them if agreeable to their tastes. The only fruit that was forbidden to eat was
apple and the only seed that God prohibited them to eat was grain of wheat.
They easily accepted what God told them to do, as they, like those animals around
them, would follow God’s orders blindly. It is important to mention that
human’s body would absorb everything they eat in heaven and there is no unwanted
waste. Otherwise, in the heaven where one can find any kind of edible
abundantly, and in an environment where flowers perfume the air and there is
honey and milk instead of water in its rivers, and it is beautifully clean,
having a place for human waste and refuse is unthinkable. Animals and human
live in peace.
The magnificent and merciful God,
whom submission to would make one closer to him and expressing gratitude
towards him would result abundance, who is the wisdom behind the universe, and the
tiniest breeze would not be felt and no winged being would fly without his
wish, ordered the Satan to deceive Evening seducing and enticing Adam to eat
the forbidden. Satan with all his craftiness shaped himself as a cobra, and slithered
around Eve’s body, and God willing, misled Eve. Not wasting a moment of time,
Eve used all her trickeries and made poor Adam to eat what he was ordered not
to. As soon as Adam swallowed, he heard the wrath of God. With a face full of
anger, God inquired Adam how he could disobey Him. Adam had never seen God so
much in rage, and while stuttering, pointed at Eve, meaning that it was all her
fault. God ordered them to leave heaven. Not knowing any other place, Adam and
Eve were confused as to what to do. God, without hesitation, gave each a kick,
and they fell down, right from heaven down to earth.
Now let’s see where earth,
paradise, and purgatory are located. As it was mentioned earlier, earth is like
a disk, with heaven above and hell underneath it. Sun travels in the sky from
east of the earth to west. As sun descends in the west, moon comes out and
travels. Stars are planted in the sky such as beads sewn on a cushion, for
humans to see the difference between day and night, and enjoy the beauty of the
sky. A God worshiping person who follows his religious and spiritual leaders
will separate from his body after death and his soul will ascend to heaven, a
beautiful and comfortable place made out of crystals, and carpeted with soft
grass and 68 degree temperature, where the air is filled with pure oxygen and
all kinds of fruits and vegetables from all over the world. People in heaven
all have the same thinking and characters, and therefore they all stay together
in tranquility. There are angels for every man and in any color, male or female
depending upon one’s desires. A person who is not heaven bound, due to his
behavior on earth, would descend to hell. In every section of hell, there is a
different kind of torture chamber. Some strong men who have trained on earth
take new arrivals and send them to each department or section. Although body is
separated from soul, they meet again just to be tortured by expert torturers
who have gained their experience in Iranian prisons and Guantanamo Bay and
other godly countries. Tortures are varied and different, from being burned in
fire and growing new skin for more suffering, to being poked by large swords
and sabers. Going back to the story of Adam and Eve, as soon as they landed on
earth and as they looked at each other’s private parts, they became ashamed and
covered themselves with some fig leaves, which happened to be at arm’s reach.
They could not figure out why God made them eat the forbidden and used it as an
excuse to banish them from heaven. God would not give any reason either and
would make them more puzzled by saying: “you should have listened to my
orders.” They finally decided that although God had given them the gift of
wisdom, the wisdom was not enough to figure out the mysterious way in which He performed.
That was the beginning of their lives on this earth, and anything related to such
life, such as combat with nature and struggle to feed themselves, and of course
creating little human beings.
The story of genesis continues
with Adam and Eve starting their lives in a new environment that God had provided
for them, entailing a new way of life. From that time on, they had to eat in
order to survive and dispose of their remains, while ashamed of looking at each
other private parts, not knowing the reason. God created an opportunity to
educate them of some of the mysteries of living on earth. He informed Adam of
the secret of multiplying and populating the earth with their kinds. In a
gentle way that only God can communicate, He taught Adam how to copulate with
Eve in order to enjoy being together and at the same time create new beings. He
told Adam to insert the part of his body which liquid waste materials escape,
to the same part of Eve’s body until he is satisfied. Adam thought at first
that God was joking with him and he started laughing. God didn’t like his
laughter over such a serious matter and slapped him around to his senses. Then,
He told him that in addition to eating fruits and vegetables, they had to eat animal
flesh in order to survive. He also taught him how to slaughter animals. He said
that he was dropping some animals from heaven, some of which were man eater and
they had to be careful not to become those animals’ meals. From that time on,
Adam would go out hunting, while Eve was picking fruits and vegetables and was taking
care of new born.
This way of life was very
difficult for Adam and Eve and they kept asking God to return them to heaven.
God explained to them that they would not stay on earth for too long and in
order for them to go back to heaven they needed to pray to him constantly and
ask for forgiveness. He explained to them that after a while they would get
sick and many diseases would attack them and they would fall sleep. Although
they needed to sleep every day, but that was a practice for eternal sleep. If
God is happy with their praying and forgiveness, they would go to heaven,
otherwise they would be sent to hell, where they would not need to sleep any
longer. Adam, who was suspicious of God’s benevolence and was a bit afraid of
Him, asked about hell. God gave both of them such a long and thrilling speech
about hell, which made them so excited that after His speech was over, they
clapped their hands. This was the beginning of standing ovation at the end of a
speech. Adam asked if Eve would have the same destination, in which God nodded.
Then, he asked about Satan, and God informed him that He had sent him to earth
as well, since he was told to bow before Adam and he had not consented to that.
Then, God explained that their children would be the continuation of their
lives on earth. Finally, God told Adam to explain all of that for Eve one more
time, since Eve was not as smart as Adam.
Adam kept struggling to feed his
wife and children. Eve was constantly pregnant with new babies. Their two sons
worked also. Abel became a shepherd and Cain learned farming. Each one of the
two brothers would provide God with gifts and presents. God showed appreciation
whenever Abel presented him with gifts, but would not appreciate Cain’s. This
made Cain resentful. One day, as he was filled with bitterness, he asked Abel
to take a walk together. While they were walking, Cain, filled with jealousy,
attacked Abel from behind and killed him, and went into hiding. God, who was
watching the event excitedly, called upon Cain and asked for his brother’s whereabouts.
Cain responded: “I am not his babysitter. How do I know where he is?” God
became angry with him and told him that perhaps he did not knew what a crime he
did and, and as soon as God said that, He banished him to be wandering on earth
for the rest of his life. Cain was deported to a desert. After a while, he
created a tribe of his own. All godless people are descendent of Cain.
Hundreds of years passed and Adam
and Eve had so many children that they would not even remember their names.
This was also due to their old age. Adam, who was very old and had pains all
over his body asked God why he was suffering so much, and asked for forgiveness
and requested to be sent back to heaven. God responded: “we decided to give you
death that would put an end to your pain and sufferings. Ordinarily and in
order to pass through life, mankind becomes sick with ailments which accompanies
pain, until death arrives. Praying to your god would send you to heaven and not
appreciating god’s gift of life would send you to hell. And that is what we
promised to you earlier.” Out of curiosity Adam asked: “please forgive my
question which might be beyond my comprehension and meddling into your affairs,
but what is the purpose of all of these?” God scratched his beard with his
point and middle fingers and pondered for a while and responded: “you are
right. This is meddling into my affairs. For the time being, get out of my
sight while I am thinking what to do with you.” At this time, Adam realized
that God examines people and whoever prays to Him and appreciates God’s plentiful
offerings would become close to Him and enjoy eternal happiness. However, he
was still uncertain of the details and decided to put his question in a
different context, in a hope to receive a satisfactory answer. He called upon
his God one more time, bowed before his magnificent court and kissed His feet
and requested a meeting with him and, as his request was granted, asked: “I am
still confused. We were in heaven already. Did you bring us here only to pray
for you and appreciate you in order to go back to where we originally were? In
fact, heaven was a boring place anyway. You have sent us to earth to destroy vegetation
and kill animals or be killed by them, in order to survive. At the end, we will
go to the same place or a place worse than that. What is the purpose of all of
these?” a smirked passed on God’s lips: “what an ass you are! Don’t you think
that heaven is better than this place?” Of course God created ass in order to
make an example for those who are not sharp enough. Adam scratched his head
with his point finger and responded: “of course heaven is better than here. We
will end up in heaven or in hell eventually. My question is the purpose behind
all this?” God started thinking for a while. Locked his hands behind his back
and with his head forward and full of thoughts, walked around and finally
responded: “None of your business.”
Adam and Eve lived for a long
time praying and begging their God. They started a generation of human being
whom we are the result of. Finally God decided to send them to heaven. After
one thousand one hundred fifty two years and sixteen hours and twenty two
minutes and four seconds, Adam passed away in a hard winter, while lying on the
ground and not having enough strength to move. He was ascended directly to
heaven. Eve lasted a couple of days longer than Adam, and exactly two days
later while she was feeding her last offspring, and while other babies were
crying (which was the invention of musical notes) followed her master to
heaven.
People, whether they were
descendent of Abel or Cabe, became godless and did not follow God’s orders.
Wrath of God sent them a horrible storm that enveloped the whole earth. Since
Noah was the only person who stayed under the God’s commands, he was ordered to
build a ship 127 meter in length, 23 meter in width, and 14 meter high, and to
select a pair of every type of animals and save them in his ship. Since Noah
knew animal’s language, in order to prevent a stampede he told them that he was
going to take them to a trip around the world. He did not ask dinosaurs
however, so they would become extinct. When every being was safe on the ship,
God ordered a rain for 150 days straight. As a result, every living being was
killed in the storm except those saved by Noah. Of course, Noah’s ark was built
in a way that no rain would fall in it. After 150 days, the sky was clear and
sun came out and dried all the water, and Noah’s ark landed on the mountain
Ararat. That made Noah one of the hundred twenty four thousand prophets chosen
by God.
Ibrahim was one of Noah’s descendants.
Ibrahim worshiped God every day, but his wife, Sara, could not bring him a boy
whom he wished. He had a servant by the name of Hajar, who was much younger
than his 90 years old wife. Sara agreed for him to sleep with the servant in a
hope of giving birth to a boy. Fortunately the coupling resulted in conception
of a boy, whom they named Ismael. As it was customary, and upon God’s wishes,
people would sacrifices animals or their children in a certain sacrificing
platform. In order to satisfy his God, Ibrahim took Ismael to the altar to
scarify him. Ismael lay down and Ibrahim put a dagger on his neck to cut his
head off his body, to please God. Suddenly, a ram ran towards them while
shouting: “stop”. When they inquired, the ram explained that Ibrahim’s worships
have been satisfactory to God and he was ordered by Him not to sacrifices his
only son. Instead, the ram continued, he could kill the ram and devour his meet
and wear his wooly coat and make bows out of his guts and burn his droppings in
the winter for warmth. Ibrahim listened to him and killed the ram instead. God
became so pleased with him that they suddenly noticed that Sara was pregnant,
and a few months later delivered a boy. She became very special to Ibrahim now
that she brought him a son. She asked Ibrahim to get rid of the servant and her
son. To comply with Sara’s wishes, Ibrahim told the servant and Ismael to get
ready for a pilgrimage. After a few days of travelling, Ibrahim asked them to
get off the carriage and wait for him to go and ask God for more instructions.
As soon as mother and son were out of sight, Ibrahim headed towards his wife
and son. Sara was so pleased that asked God forgiveness for all their sins. And
that is how Ibrahim became one of God’s prophets.
God has sent many prophets to
guide people in different times. In addition to natural phenomenon such as
thunder and sun and storm that God created in order for people to take
advantage of and worship, or idles that God selected as His substitute to be
worshiped, God also sent his representatives as human being, the most famous of
them was Moses. His mother was from a Jewish tribe, and so God designated Moses
to guide and shepherd his maternal tribe from Egypt to the Promised Land. One
day, Moses was resting on a rock and while he was dreaming and planning the
future, he fell asleep. Suddenly the sound of thunder and lightning woke him
up. A blade of fire which he thought to be a part of the lightning was
separating from the sky and making lines on the rock. Frightened, Moses hid in
a corner. When the lightning was over, he looked at the rock. He saw 15 lines
in Hebrew which were God’s 15 commandments for humans to live by. He was
ordered to teach his tribe those commandments. There was a staff next to the
tablet that had magical power. It could turn into a serpent, produce water from
stone, and cut through oceans. Moses picked up the tablet and the staff and
called upon his people and announced words of God. His people would however not
listen to him and make fun of him. They made a replica of a sheep out of gold
(as Jews enjoyed working with gold and precious metals, the profession of which
was called jewelry). While worshipping the sheep head, they started dancing,
that caused some content of the tablet broken into pieces. Those five broken commandments
were as follows: 11. Tell your people that after they reach the Promised Land,
they would separate apart and wander around the world. 12. One day they would
be hated for their desire to accumulate wealth, by people in the west of the
globe. 13. After a massacre of the poor Jewish people, they would be sent back
to the east by the most powerful nation of the time. 14. They will kill the
natives and become a powerful small nation in the land. 15. Tell your people
that the first commandment, thou shall not kill, is not applied to Arabs. Since
these five commandments were broken down, they were forgotten from the memory
of those who preserved the other ten. Moses kept getting lost in guiding his
people, as Google map was not created by God yet. But he finally succeeded in
reaching the Promised Land, and became one of God’s important messengers.
God, who is always thinking of
delight for his creatures, assigns some representatives with some of his
characteristics to guide people towards righteousness. For example, fire became
a symbol of warmth and light, and found a special place and a spiritual meaning
for people. Sun, moon, thunder and lightning, earthquake, flood, and other
natural disasters became godly symbols. Some made statutes of such gods, and
some named the owners of such powers, such as Anahita, Mithra, Ahoora, Vishna,
and others. Each one had a different way of life and different teachings. For
instance Buda conveyed his messages in a different way than others did. Some
people’s souls would incarnate in some other person or animal. God sent such
prophets in order to improve people’s lives and tell them that God was watching
and warn them of God’s wrath. In each period, God would send different
prophets, until 21 centuries ago when God sent a prophet who became the most
famous person in all times. The reason was that the prophet He sent was in fact
his own son.
There was a woman by the name of
Mary who lived in the city of Galeliah. God had been watching her carefully and
for a long time. He knew that she was betrothed to a carpenter by the name of
Joseph. One day, Mary was sitting on the banks of a river washing her clothes.
God sent her a message that He had secretly made her pregnant with a son by the
name of Jesus. Mary panicked, so badly that she lost one of her favorite
dresses to the river’s current. She looked around and then looked up and asked:
“is that you God?” God nodded. She continued: “don’t you know that I am
betrothed to Joseph, and he will take me to his house in a few days? What
should I tell him?” God commanded: “you don’t question your God. Don’t you know
that I am aware of all present, past, and future? Don’t worry about Joseph, but
keep this as a secret. Just when Jesus is 12 years old disclose this secret to
him.” And that is how God’s son was born. Jesus was extremely shy and introverted.
He would not play with other kids of his age, and would hide himself from
people. On the day of his 12th birthday, his mother took him aside
and told him: “I have a secret to disclose to you. Joseph is not your real
father.” Jesus was shocked and ashamed: “have you been disloyal to my father?
Have you betrayed him?” Mary responded: “before you accuse me of other things let
me finish. When I got married to your father I was already pregnant, and still
a virgin.” Jesus’ mouth was wide open with astonishment. He could not believe
what he was hearing. Mary continued: “your real father is God. He told me that
he impregnated me the same day, and wanted me to tell you this secret today.
You are God’s chosen prophet. When you were born, three people with strange
customs came here and brought presents for me and enunciated your mission as a
messenger of God.” Jesus believed his mother and waited until one day God
commanded him to invite people to worship their God. Jesus inquired: “my
merciful father, do you want me to invite Jews to the new divinity or the
Romans?” God responded: “you should stay among your people and summon them to
the new doctrine.” Jesus was puzzled: “but the Jews already believe in you. It
is romans who don’t worship the only God. Why shouldn’t I work among Romans?”
God rubbed his long beard and patiently responded: “Romans worship what is my
wish. Don’t you know that I am aware of everything, and nothing changes or
moves in your world unless it is my desire?” Jesus insisted: “but my grateful
father. What is the reason for that?” God was getting a bit annoyed by his
questions, and replied slightly louder: “I created you and everything around
you. I know the reason for all of these and I work in mysterious ways, that
human being that you are now would not understand. Now, go and work among
Jews.” Jesus acquiesced to his father’s demand and since he was very gentle and
fair and always did good deeds, and helped the poor and toppled the bench of
usurpers, he was much liked among the poor. But Jews treated him badly and made
fun of him, and complained to Pilate, the Roman delegate about him. Pilate
inquired about Jesus, and everyone told him that he was crazy. Jesus asked his
father for help. God told him to continue working among his peoples: “listen to
me and listen carefully. One day Romans will crucify you, and your spirit would
separate from your body and you will come to me. Until then, you should work
among Jews.” Jesus was dumbfounded: “would crucifying be painful?” God
responded: “yes it will be. And that would be your suffrage on behalf of those
who do not believe in me.” Jesus was more astonished: “why do I have to suffer for
those who did not believe in you?” God became irritated again: “remember once I
told you that you would not understand what I do? You are getting too noisy and
going out of your way I directed you to go.” Jesus was baffled and asked in a
hurry: “forgive me. I did not mean to intrude into your affairs. The reason is
that these people do not believe in me and they make fun of me. Show me some
miracles to convince them of my position.” God showed him some tricks, such as
walking above the water and bringing dead to life. But none of these miracles
impressed Pontius Pilate, and he ordered to crucify Jesus. Since Jesus was
resurrected into heavens, he has been living among angels, and he will come
back to earth when there is no justice and everyone is godless, and he will
kill so many until blood rises to the knees of his horse.
Several centuries later, God
decided to send another messenger to direct people. This time He selected an
orphan from the same area, a child who was raised by his grandfather and his
uncle, by the name of Mohammad. After several business trips with his uncle, he
becomes acquainted with a woman 15 years his senior, a businesswoman with
plenty of wealth. Due to his trustworthiness, he is called Mohammad the honest.
For this reason, when cleaning an important house of worship containing a black
rock as an idle, which is the center of Moslems’ worship today; Mohammad was
asked to hold the rock while they were cleaning the placeholder, which was an
honorable achievement. The rock was called “Allah” and after becoming a prophet
of God, Mohammad commanded his people to use the same name for God, considering
that Mohammad’s father was named “Abdullah”, which means God’s servant. God
decided not to directly speak to his prophet this time, and selected one of His
angels, Gabriel, to relay his messages. Mohammad used to go to a cave to
worship, and that was the place he met Gabriel who informed him of God’s nomination.
Mohammad asked Gabriel: “God has sent many messengers to direct people so far.
Why is He always sending a new one?” The angel responded: “obviously to make
sure that people are directed to righteous deeds and virtues.” Mohammad asked
again: “so then why didn’t God create people that way?” Gabriel pondered while
staring at his wing, and finally replied: “that is an interesting question. Let
me ask the Lord and bring back His response.” From that time on, Mohammad
started inviting people to pray to his God not idles. There were many different
idles in Mecca; some of the important ones were from Mohammad’s tribe, whose
owners accumulated plenty of wealth. Of course, idle owners did not like
Mohammad’s propaganda against their business, and after harassing him in
different fashions, they decided to kill him. Mohammad went back to the cave
and consulted with the angel: “why did you put me in such a position to be
harassed and threatened to death? What am I supposed to do now with these idle
holders, some of whom are my relatives?” Gabriel asked: “which one of the idles
do you consider the most important one?” Mohammad responded: “there are three
idles by the names of Laat, Ezi, and Manat, who make the most amount of money
for their owners.” The angel said that all three were designated by God.
Mohammad went to his people and told them that he received versus from the
angel that those three idles were God’s selected ones. However, the next day
Gabriel denied it and told him that those words that he heard the day before
were not his words, but words of Satan and he should tell people that they were
satanic verses.” This made the situation worse, and his persecution continued
until he escaped Mecca overnight towards Medina. His scape became the beginning
of Moslem’s calendar. Mohammad directed people to pray to God, as it was
ordained by Gabriel, while facing Jerusalem. As the war between Mecca and
Mohammad’s followers in Medina started, Mohammad ordered the direction of
praying to be changed towards Mecca. From that time on, Gabriel’s revelations
were about Mohammad’s social life, such as directives to caravan robbery and
plunder, or the right way to distribute stolen trophies or why Jews should be booted
out of Medina, and issues of alike. As the number of Moslems increased and they
returned to Mecca, God ordered Mohammad through Gabriel to fight those who did
not submit to him, and to distribute their belongings such as gold, clothing,
slaves, estates, and women, among Moslems. Of course, Mohammad was ordered to
take his share first and distribute the rest. That is how Islam became very
popular, to make it the second most popular religion after Christianity today.
God is always in favor of
powerful men, with good status and plenty of wealth, and he has always helped
this group of people. Before Islam, Christianity was the fastest growing
religion. When God ordered Islam as a new religion, he created a competition
between the two, and ordered them to fight with each other and the victor would
have it all. God creates selected people to govern others. He makes a majority
of people, especially if they are non-white, to serve a minority as slaves, and
sends them to heaven after life. Therefore, any subjugated person should
forebear all the tyranny and oppression and injustice since the heaven belongs
to him. God has made heaven much larger than hell, so those who are
heaven-bound will be increased by day, as there is more suffering for a
majority by a small group, in this world. In fact it has historically been true
that wealth of a nation has always been in the hands of a few. God is aware of
all the injustice done to men, and through his messengers, he orders those
under domination to be patient and pray to their God, in order to enjoy the
beauty of heaven after this material life.
Who is God? Imagine at the
beginning there was nothing, neither light nor darkness, neither space nor air.
Only God existed. It is of course hard to imagine nothing. Even envisioning black
hole that absorbs everything is easier than thinking about nothing. Now imagine
that there is a God whom one cannot not see or touch or smell or speak to,
because not only he is not material, He cannot be understood with the five
senses. On the other hand, anyone imagines God in any way or fashion that he
believes. For a man, God is of course a man. For a Japanese, God looks like
him. For a European, or Asian, or any other nationality God is the same
nationality. For a praying mantis, God is also a praying mantis, and for a straw,
God is also a straw. Therefore, anyone or anything pictures God the way that
the person or the thing is. In fact, God is a vagabond who is always looking
and never finding, since he does not know what he is looking for. This is the
real story of Genesis in short, with the most important prophets who have
brought God’s messages. One may think how the author of these words knows all
of these. Keep this thought fresh until you see a mosque, a church, a temple, a
shrine, or a place of worship, or a person of faith, a mullah, a priest, a
cleric, a spiritual man, or a building that is built with metaphysical thoughts.
Keep this thought until someone speaks to you about God. The first question you
should have is how that person has received that knowledge, or how wholly books
have been sent to humans? If there is a strong force that can change this world
from evil to good, why doesn’t that force do that? Put it plainly, no one has
come, or will come, from another world, as it is against the law of physics.
Think about it! Independent thinking is a good thing!
