There is no doubt that the Islamic Republic is a brutal regime governing the people who have tolerated it for more than four decades and have always tried to reform it, with no success. But the regime has been declining further into the abyss, by acting illogically and unreasonably in its internal politics. A clear example of that is presidential elections and its policies and methods of electing, which limits candidates to the approval of a few illiterate mullahs, resulting in such incompetent heads of states. People's protests and demonstrations throughout the country due to encroachments, killings, theft, ignoring the smallest needs of the people, and political-scientific-social decline continue, and will continue until extensive changes are made in the country.
Of course, There are those who believe in the revolution,
whether they participated in it or not. It was however interesting to know,
although it was not clear to those agreeing with the revolution, that from the
time of the first protest in the streets until the time of the Shah leaving and
Khomeini returning to Iran, did not take long. This was extremely rapid and took the
revolution from the first protest in the streets until Khomeini emerged in Iran
a very short time, compared to other revolutions, which makes one think that it
was accelerated by some outside forces. It is documented in detail what those
forces were, and how the uprising was managed secretly by the superpowers. By studying the history
of Iran, we can conclude that political powers arise during the decline and
collapse of the ruling regime, and depending on the attitude of its founder, either
they progress rapidly or they fall after one or two generations, replaced by
another regime. The Pahlavi
dynasty also came into being when Qajar was rapidly declining. Of course, foreign powers also played a
significant role in overthrowing the Qajar dynasty as well as the first Pahlavi
king. This was at a time when Europe and America
were developing rapidly, and new inventions and discoveries were maturing in
these two continents. This caused not only last Qajar kings’, but also Reza
Shah's reliance on European countries. Of course, American government was
struggling with slavery and other racial differences while there were
well-wishers and humanists in the United States, such as Dr. Samuel Martin
Jordan, who traveled to other countries and served the people of those
countries, such as Iran. The American landscape continued to change in more than
two centuries between the two world wars, and inflation and unemployment were
rampant during the first four years of Franklin Roosevelt's presidency. At that time, inflation in America was on a
dangerous slope, when John Maynard Keynes prevented a total collapse of the
economy by introducing some semi-socialist economic policies into the system,
which resulted re-election of the president. And yet, American government had not reached the supremacy
to become a globally powerful economic system until the years between the two
world wars. Eventually, this country became a world
superpower after World War II, and one of the first countries under its
influence was Iran. This trend continued through the decline of second Pahlavi
king that caused his downfall. Of course, what replaced it, which is known as the clerical
regime, was and is far more inferior and brutal than the Pahlavi regime ever
was, and in comparison, people elevate Pahlavi dynasty to the top and aspire to
such a leadership.
The reliance of the Pahlavi family on the western
governments can be clearly seen in Reza Shah's dependence on the German
government in World War II, which led to the Germans passing through Iran to
attack the Soviet Union. They accomplished this by constructing a north-south
train line in Iran, in order to reach the Soviets by landing on Persian Gulf and
crossing to the north of the country. However, when Germans were defeated, the
Allies deported Reza Shah and replaced him with his son. As a result, policies
of the new Shah were dictated to him through western empires. When Mossadegh
became his prime minister, he endeavored increasing government’s revenue by
controlling production of Iran’s national treasure, oil, which had been completely
overtaken by the British. What Mossadegh wanted for Iran was to nationalize
Iran's most valuable export, which until then was in foreign hands. His wishes
were also supported by the vast majority of Iranians. But instead of siding
with the people of his country, the Shah of Iran supported the West, and by
hiring mobsters, he toppled Mosaddegh’s government and approved an American
coup, named TP Ajax.
One of the biggest betrayals of the leadership group in
Iran is to dominate all economic affairs and pass it on to friends and
relatives. When we look at the history of Iran, we notice this trend in every
dynasty. For example, the last royal family of Iran had taken so much wealth
out of Iran after the revolution, that not a single person from this group had
to work to meet their material needs, in the past four and a half decades. The misuses
and embezzlements of the only non-monarchy government in Iran, the Islamic
regime, are constantly increasing and there is no reminder necessary. In this
way, the national assets of the Iranian people have always been plundered and a
poor and needy nation has been left behind. The population of Iran, which has
multiplied due to the mismanagement of the Islamic regime, is not even able to
meet its basic needs.
I read somewhere that if America attacks Iran in
retaliation for three American soldiers who were killed by Iranian missiles,
the region will be set on fire and the first effect will be a rapid increase in
the price of oil. In the late nineteen sixties and early nineteen seventies,
due to the policies of increasing oil prices by OPEC and other oil
organizations, the income of the middle class in Iran became significantly
higher, and it reached its maximum purchasing power. In fact, a new middle
class had emerged in Iran that could easily travel to foreign countries, and
Iran's money had gained a higher value. This increase was what Mossadegh had in
mind three decades earlier, and the Shah had prevented it. One of the reasons
that this increase came into effect was the independence of the oil industry in
Iran and the expulsion of foreigners by Mossadegh. Of course, those who bought
this oil were not happy with the increase. It should be noted that the Shah's
goal at the end of his reign was to bring Iran's economic and industrial
position to a higher level, compatible with Japan and perhaps even higher.
There is no doubt that if this process continued, his wishes would have been
fulfilled. But unfortunately, he did not think about the fact that he himself
had prevented this project a few decades before, at the behest of the West.
During his last trip to America as Iran's leader, a huge demonstration by
Iranians abroad against the Shah was held in front of the White House, and this
was the turning point that alerted Carter's cautious administration to his
political weaknesses. Therefore, the Shah had to be replaced. If a rowdy horse cannot
be tamed, the only option left is to knock him down.
Khomeini’s rise to power
suddenly and after years of residing in Iraq, and then his move to France by
the order of the superpowers, and the reason for his sudden rise can be viewed
through available videos. It is noticeable that he was easily able to take over
the leadership of an uprising which turned into a revolution overnight. What we
called The Left in Iran was either under Islamic influence or was supported by
the northern neighbor, and leaders of those movements decided to support
Khomeini as well. The Shah also left Iran and went to Egypt on an order by the
United States, and since his existence was causing trouble, they took him to
America for treatment, and got rid of him altogether.
Dictators have expiration
dates for American governments. As long as they are beneficial to their
interest, they must somehow remain in place. But sometimes they forget that
they should continue the path that is in the interest of their sponsors, and
not their own people. We have seen an example of it in many countries, when the
dictators forget the interests of the master, that is the end date for them. America,
which was angered by the Shah's leadership in OPEC and the significant increase
in oil prices, in addition to his recent speeches in doing things for the
development of his country and turning it into a global industrial power
without consulting the masters, had no choice but to remove the Shah. However,
it was not possible for the United States to attack Iran, in addition to the
fact that America's policy of attacking Middle Eastern countries in the past
few decades was not conceivable at the time, due to the existence of the Soviet
Union. Another option was a coup in Iran, but it would take a long time. The
Shah's visit to America and the huge demonstrations against him opened the door
for observing American policy makers. They noticed that the greatest enemies of
the Shah were Iranians themselves. They were those who were tired of the Shah's
dependent policies, his dictatorship, political prisoners, and events such as the
coup against Mossadegh, and wished for a better regime. For this purpose, American
government began by sending agents to Iran to visit Shah's prisons. One of the
political prisoners was Dr. Morteza Mohit who was serving his sentence in Evin
prison. He, who had studied as a physician in the United States, was chosen as
a translator between the prisoners and American visitors. Dr. Mohit claims that
since his grandfather was an Ayatollah, he had always been invited to tea by
religious figures in prison. He says that after the American agents visited the
prison, the behavior of religious political prisoners and mullahs changed
towards him, as they would not invite him to have tea any longer, and after
some time they were released from the prison altogether. US government had well
understood that the best anti-regime fighter is Khomeini, and to support him,
they should establish his connection with the mullahs inside Iran. Let's
remember that it was from that time that anti-regime tapes were circulating all
over Iran, and many of them were Khomeini's speeches. Without going into
details, documents clearly show that the revolution was completely planned by
America, and it was successfully implemented step by step. Sensing the danger,
the Shah, thinking that the US still supported him, carried out the orders of
the US, from imprisoning those who had served him for years, such as the
Cabinet of Ministers and the Prime Minister himself, to installing one of the
old opponents as the prime minister. Afterwards and as soon as American
government asked him to leave Iran, he accepted it without question. There is
no doubt that if he did not pay attention to American orders, the revolution
would never have happened, although Carter government had other tactics up its
sleeve, regardless.
Unfortunately, at that
time, only a limited number of Iranians had a complete understanding of Islam,
and religion in general, and knew what damage such ideologies could cause.
Since the government supported Islam and propagated it and celebrated Shiet
Islam’s religious festivities, most Iranians believed in it even if they
refused to perform religious rituals. Photographs of the Shah visiting Imams'
graves and his Hajj ceremony were published in newspapers and magazines from
time to time. As a result, mosques and other religious buildings were regularly
built, and Islam was fully propagated by the regime.
In this way, Khomeini,
along with his radical supports, such as Yazdi and Qutbzadeh, were able to
conquer Iran easily. Because looting and killing are on the agenda of every
religion, especially Islam, and because the leaders of other political groups
also saw his face on the moon (!) Khomeini became Imam, and Imams historically
begin with murder and killing. After driving other forces away from the
political scene by murder and imprisonment, Khomeini decided to burn their
roots, and the killing of thousands of Iranian youths in Iranian prisons at the
end of the first decade of the revolution, was an end to the leftist and
nationalist forces. In general, the Shah could not do as much services as
Khomeini accomplished for the United States policies in Iran, while chanting
death to America. For example, during the reign of the Shah, United States
encouraged him to attack Iraq in order to overthrow Saddam's regime, who had
been modernizing his country. Shah who had greatly helped American policies in
Oman, by destroying their anti-government guerrillas, was the best person to
accomplish that mission. But instead of attacking Iraqi regime, the Shah gave
Saddam a hand in friendship. In the end, Khomeini fought this war, and not only
crushed the Iraqi military, but he also destroyed all the military reserves of
the Shah, who was the largest client of American arm manufacturers, while he
was in power.
Perhaps it is
appropriate to say something about an army, military forces, war and homeland
defense. In general, war is a struggle between two states. Keep in mind that
those who are killed in wars are not government officials, but the simple
people of two countries who do not have any enmity with each other. It should be stressed that a war is a struggle between
two states. All wars are planned by governments and begin to fulfill political
interests, such as geographical expansion of territory or economic dominance.
Soldiers fighting for governments have no opposition with each other, and it is
their own governments that send them to their deaths. The tactic of governments
is to arise a sense of patriotism and propaganda in defense of the motherland. People
should always be aware that the army and the military forces are for the
stability and permanency of those who rule, and to continue their rule. Taking
another person's life cannot be justified by any means. Therefore, the best way
to coexist and live without worries is to avoid wars. Young people should know
that nothing in this world is worth killing another person.
Currently, regarding the
relationship with the West and with what is called imperialism, the position of
the Iranian government is in line with the interests of its people. But Iranian
regime’s internal policies are against the great majority of Iranians’
interests, and it is necessary for the regime to moderate its policies visa vis
Iranian people living in Iran. An overthrow of the government would create an anarchy
and would destroy Iran as one nation. As long as the Iranian regime puts
Iranian people in such a political and economic deadlock, although it has lived
for about half a century, it has nowhere to go but downhill. If another
revolution takes place in Iran, which is unlikely because the political forces
have been castrated, Iran will turn into disorder and chaos. The only way to
pass this regime is a redirection in changing the attitude of the leaders,
replacing them with more progressive leaders, or the collapse of its members by
joining the people of Iran. We are witnessing today, and to some extent, how
the figures of the regime have been criticizing their government, coming out one
by one against the policies of the regime, vis-à-vis Hijab, and other issues.
The only way, which is already taking place, and it needs to speed up and
expand, is the leakage and then the fall of those in power, to be replaced by a
more accountable group. This trend is progressively happening now.
