کسانی‌ که در آمریکا به عنوان رئیس جمهور انتخاب می‌شوند عموما یا از حزب دمکرات و یا از حزب جمهوری‌خواهان می‌باشند. ولی‌ آیا این کشور دو حزبی است؟ در تئوری خیر، ولی‌ در عمل رؤسای جمهور این کشور از سال هزار و هشتصد و شصت از یکی‌ از این دو حزب بوده‌ا‌ند. شاید همه از آن آگاه نباشند که در آمریکا بیش از چهار صد و بیست حزب ثبت نام کرده‌اند. البته بسیاری از احزاب محلی می‌باشند و فقط در ایالات خاصی‌، و به منظور انتخاب نمایندگان محلی، حضور دارند. حزب دمکرات از سال هزار و هشتصد و بیست و هشت، و حزب جمهوری‌خواه از سال هزار و هشتصد و پنجاه و چهار شروع به فعالیت کردند. احزابی چون حزب مستقل و یا حزب سبز طرفدارانی دارند ولی‌ نه آنچنان که بتوانند یک رئیس جمهور انتخاب کنند. جالب است که بدانیم که یک حزب مذهبی‌ نیز در آمریکا وجود دارد، به نام حزب همبستگی‌ (سالیداریتی).ا

The history of the Palestinians is a history of betrayal.  In the wake of World War I, Britain and France redrew the map of the Middle East to suit their own ends.  They created countries with artificial borders, which led to unrest and uprisings.  They had concluded a secret agreement during the war—the Sykes-Picot agreement—that dashed Palestinian hopes of independence.  The following year, the Balfour Declaration called for the establishment of a Jewish homeland in what was then Palestine.

• Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) have said they reject “any foreign guardianship” of the Gaza Strip. Gaza officials have called for an independent, international investigation into war crimes and genocide during Israel’s war.

• UNRWA has called for all crossings into Gaza to be opened, saying that there are 6,000 aid trucks ready to reach Gaza in hours.
• Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 67,682 people and wounded 170,033 since October 2023. A total of 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7, 2023, attacks and about 200 were taken captive.

پاره‌ای از ضرب‌المثل‌های قدیمی‌ ما همیشه و در هر حالت مناسب نیستند. شاید یکی‌ از آنها برای زمانی‌ که آن ضرب‌المثل همگانی شد مناسب بود، ولی‌ با تغییراتی که در جوامع هر لحظه شکل می‌گیرد، آن ضرب‌المثل ممکن است کاردبُری نداشته باشد. حتی معدودی از آنها نداشتن امکانات مالی‌ و معنوی را به هیچ می‌انگاشت و سعی‌ در آن می‌کرد که انسان‌هائی را که آن امکانات را نداشتند قانع کند که در آن ایرادی نبود. در صورتی که وظیفهٔ هر کسی‌ است که حتی اگر در خانواده‌ای بزرگ شده است که این امکانات وجود نداشته است، برای آن بجنگد و آنرا به دست بیاورد. یکی‌ از آن امثال این بود که بیسوادی عار نیست، در صورتی‌ که هست! بنابراین، اگر پدر و مادری نتوانستند از نظر مالی تحمل این را داشته باشند که فرزندشان را به مدرسه بفرستند، وظیفهٔ آن فرزند است که زمانی که از اولیایش مستقل شد، خود را باسواد کند. شکی نیست که منظور از بیسوادی، عدم دانش و مهارت در خواندن و نوشتن است. ولی‌ در اینجا از آن‌هم فراتر می‌رویم و بیسوادی را عدم رغبت به مطالعهٔ اگاهی‌هائی در زمینهٔ گفتمان‌های ادبی‌، اجتماعی و سیاسی فرض می‌کنیم.ا

( Middle East Monitor ) – The Gaza plan unveiled by Donald Trump and reluctantly accepted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been described as bold, controversial, and even theatrical. And indeed, it is all of these things. But it is also something else, perhaps the only available mechanism, however imperfect, to bring a pause to a conflict that has consumed countless lives and devastated Gaza’s infrastructure. For that reason alone, it deserves recognition, even if one cannot fully ignore its flaws or the ambitions that inspired it.

سالهای سال، ملاها ایرانیان را از خواندن ترجمهٔ فارسی قرآن منع می‌کردند. چرا که تا زمانی‌ که قرآن را به فارسی نخوانیم و از پیغام‌های آن آگاه نشویم، تصور می‌کنیم که مطالب مهمی‌ در آن است که دانستن آن برای ما انسان‌ها ضروری است. حتی زمانی‌ که به زبان عربی‌ آشنائیِ کامل داریم و آنرا به عربی‌ می‌خوانیم و هنوز در بُهت و حیرتیم که هدف این کتاب آگاهی‌ دادن در مورد چه چیزی است، ملاها به ما هشدار می‌دهند که این کلام خدا است و اسراری که در این کتاب است برای همه مکشوف نیست، و پس از مرگ حقایق را درک خواهیم کرد. البته چنانچه ما خاطره‌ای از زمان پیش از تولد خود داریم و می‌دانیم که چه بودیم و در چه جهانی‌ زندگی‌ می‌کردیم، می‌توانیم انتظار این را داشته باشیم که پس از مرگ نیز به دنیای دیگری مهاجرت کنیم.ا

After a White House meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Trump unveiled a 20-point peace plan for the Gaza Strip on Monday that aims to end Israel’s war on Gaza, free the remaining Israeli hostages and remove Hamas from power. Netanyahu expressed support for the deal, but he has already backed away from key elements, including a call for Israel to eventually pull its troops out of Gaza. Hamas has not responded yet to the deal. As part of his 20-point peace plan, Trump announced the establishment of an international transitional governing body called the “Board of Peace,” which Trump would head.
