G7 Versus BRICS: Power Struggles are Not Class Struggles

Class struggles interact with but are different from power struggles. The ancient conflicts between city-states Athens and Sparta were power struggles, while within each, slaves and enslavers engaged in class struggles. Britain and France were absolute monarchies in late European feudalism fully engaged in power struggles.

Global outrage erupts over Israeli bombing of Gaza hospital

On Tuesday, the Israeli military dropped a massive GPS-guided bomb on the Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, killing more than 500 medical personnel, patients and refugees. The hospital, operated by the Anglican Christian Church, had been sheltering over 1,000 people who were displaced by the bombing.

As it gives Israel green light for genocide, US prepares war against Iran

Amid a genocide against the people of Gaza by the Israeli military, the United States is threatening to unleash a war throughout the Middle East targeting Iran.

Over the weekend, bombs continued to rain down on Gaza, killing hundreds of people each day. A population of two million is being systematically murdered through starvation and thirst, while one million people in Northern Gaza are being forced on a death march in advance of an imminent ground invasion.

This is a 486-page book about the first voyage into Caribbean Sea when new territories were discovered by Europeans, and how this new found world was occupied by them. Their expedition was followed by gold-diggers and so-called pioneers to Caribbean islands in search of treasures. It details crimes of Europeans in these islands, killing, torturing, and slaving natives, and looting and plundering their homes and lands. The barbarity of Europeans detailed in the book, towards not only natives of the newly discovered lands but also against each other is hard to imagine.
