This morning, one day after the
historic general strike in Minneapolis in response to the ICE murder of Renee
Nicole Good, a federal CBP agent just murdered another person in cold blood.
The Peace and Freedom Party candidates for statewide office join the call for a
general strike beyond Minneapolis to shut down business as usual and put an end
to this nationwide reign of terror.
The last several days of sustained mass action by workers, students, community leaders, and business owners in Minneapolis is a testament to the fact that the people’s movement is the true counterweight to the Trump administration’s fascistic escalation. The horrific violence, persecution of activists protesting, and disregard for human life that these criminals have demonstrated is not tolerated by the people of this country. Despite sowing lies to attempt to divide us across lines of race and religious beliefs, the people see our enemies clearly: the billionaires, led by Trump and his cabal of neo-Nazi administrators, who scapegoat immigrants and wage terror in this country against working people.
Our power is in our labor. By withholding it, by shutting things down, we flex the true muscle of the masses. Nothing happens without us, the working class. We join the call to expand the general strike, and shut down business as usual until ICE is off our streets!
Join our socialist movement to end the rule of the billionaires and ICE terror. Register Peace and Freedom Party.
Ramsey Robinson, for Governor.
Alice Stek, for Lt. Governor.
Meghann Adams, for Controller.
Lalo Vazquez, for Insurance Commissioner.
Frank Lara, for Superintendent of Public Instruction.
