از راست و چپ بسیار شنیده می شود که عملیات نظامی فدراسیون روسیه در اوکراین نه تنها موجب پیشگیری از توسعه سازمان تجاوزگر ناتو نشده که برعکس کشورهای دیگری، فنلاند، سوئد، ... را هم به این سازمان نزدیک یا به عضویت آن درآوده است و یا گفته می شود روسیه با این اشتباه راهبردی، باعث شد آلمان، ژاپن و برخی دیگر از کشورهای شکست خورده در جنگ جهانی دوم که بر اساس قوانین اساسی تحمیل شده به آنان، قادر به تشکیل ارتش تهاجمی نبودند، با چراغ سبز ایاالت متحد آمریکا در صدد تغییر این قانون و افزایش هرچه بیشتر بودجه نظامی خود باشند و هرچه بیشتر به ناتو نزدیک شوند تا صلح جهانی، در معرض خطری بسیار بیش از شروع عملیات ویژه روسیه در اوکراین، قرار گیرد . این موضوع در مورد دیگر کشورهای اروپای غربی و به ویژه شرقی که برخی از آنان تابع بی چون و چرای فرامین ایاالت متحد آمریکا هستند، نیز صدق می کند.ا
