Gaza interior ministry creates 'Arrow Unit' to deal with gangs blackmailing aid groups

The government in the Gaza Strip recently set up a new police force tasked with “maintaining security,” particularly to deal with gangs that have been given a “free hand” by Israel, Palestinian sources told the Arabi21 outlet on 18 November.

On May 10, 2024, the UN General Assembly passed overwhelmingly, with only nine negative votes (Argentina, Czechia, Hungary, Israel, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea and the United States) a resolution (https://documents.un.org/doc/undoc/ltd/n24/129/97/pdf/n2412997.pdf) which “Determinesthat the State of Palestine is qualified for membership in the United Nations and should therefore be admitted to membership in the United Nations” and “Accordingly recommends that the Security Council reconsider the matter favorably.”

Israel warned Iran ahead of latest strike – Axios

Israel relayed a warning to Iran through several third parties ahead of its missile strike against the Islamic Republic on Saturday, Axios has reported, citing three anonymous sources. According to the media outlet, West Jerusalem indicated what type of targets it would attack, while cautioning Tehran against retaliating.
